Description de la conférence

The Interreg V Grande Région AGRETA project – Ardenne Greater Region, Ecotourism and Attractiveness – was launched in 2017. Its main goal is to enhance the attractiveness of the cross border “Ardennes” region, which consists of France, Belgium and Luxemburg. AGRETA focusses on Belgium and Luxemburg. There is a second Interreg project for the other part of this region as a destination in order to reach the whole area and develop equally the entire cross border region.&nbsp,

The main focus is on green tourism activities.&nbsp,&nbsp,

Developing an eco-tourism strategy for our region can only be enabled through a detailed knowledge of the use of our natural areas and of the expectations of these spaces. Therefore, one of the actions of the AGRETA project aims to monitor green areas through different methods. The results of this study will allow the management, conservation and development of our environment and region as a destination to be improved.

In this talk we&nbsp,will&nbsp,present the activities that we have carried out during 4 years to improve our region as a destination, and in particular the major study on the use of our natural areas. We will explain the different methods and results.
